We're Hiring- Sales Manager- Americas

 With our rapid growth, we are looking to add a highly driven Americas sales manager to our Miami team! With an emphasis on customer relationships, the America’s Sales manager is responsible for designing and executing our multi-industry, multi-channel strategy for our Dakine-related wind and wetsuit business in North and South America.


JOB DESCRIPTION
• Actively lead a sales team, including internal and external independent reps, to develop their career paths and achieve goals.
• Leading by example, empowering the sales teams to be true “owners” in the business
• Architect and execute the multi-channel sales strategy with an emphasis on account relationships and growth
• Lead aggressive company launches into adjacent markets and product categories
• Develop growth-oriented and profit-driving seasonal sales programs
• Manage and grow strong relationships with key wholesale accounts
• Working with Finance to create annual sales dept budgets
• Establish aggressive sales goals and forecasts
• Lead multiple in-person and digital sales strategy summits
• Must have strong experience and understanding of complex multi-channel (wholesale and D2C) strategy and provide exceptional brand sales experiences for all customers.
• Must have a strong analytical mindset and use a data-driven approach.
• Frequently travel with reps to key accounts and attend industry events and trade shows.
• Ensure go-to-market plans are successfully executed in both physical and digital channels.
• Actively collaborate with upper management on overall company vision and strategy.
• Work with the Brand Manager to help guide the product line.
• Work closely with Brand management to collaborate on brand and go-to-market strategies and ensure the brand vision is consistently communicated to the entire sales team.
• Continually study and gain an expert-level, technical understanding of our entire product assortment.
• Actively research internal and adjacent industries and competitors to gain competitive insights.
• Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress at all times. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and provide support to team members balancing competing priorities. Drive results proactively.
• Strong collaboration and communication with internal business units (marketing, finance, IT, product) and 3rd party vendors, bridging development processes, approaches, and cultures.
• Coordinate with logistics and purchasing to ensure adequate and timely supply of equipment and disseminate this information.
• Inventory management and delivery.
• Provide in-depth product training to sales team members and accounts.
• Communicate shipping schedules, order delivery status, and fulfillment to the sales team and accounts.
• Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor the industry as a whole to determine and recommend additions and modifications to the product line.
• Manage product warranties and warranty replacements.
• Drive aggressive yet sustainable long-term growth.
• Advanced Excel, ERP, Sana, and analytical experience.
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Office 365 platform.

Requirements:
• Must be highly detail-oriented and organized
• Must be energized and motivated in the face of challenge
• Able to wear multiple hats and strategically prioritize workload
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of successful sales leadership
• National sales experience in the wind or Surf industry experience preferred
• Proven track record of managing high-performance teams that exceed performance expectations
• Experience building out large-scale sales strategies with complex dependencies and effective resource management.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills
• Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, decision making, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven record of creating new successful processes and improving existing ones.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and cross-functional peers to support deadlines
• Work from our Miami office, a non-remote position
