Introducing the Phaze Board Collection, designed specifically for the exhilarating sport of wing foiling. These boards are built to help you experience the freedom and excitement of wing foiling like never before.
Crafted with wood and ultra-light eps construction. The boards are optimized for early take off. They are compact, lightweight, and provide improved stability, responsiveness, and efficient pumping abilities, making them the perfect boards for improving your skills. With unique dimensions and shapes optimized for foiling, the Phaze boards will help you carve better on the swell and connect bumps, ensuring you make the most of your wing and foil.
The Phaze board collection features a variety of volumes and sizes to suit every rider out there. The compact shape of the boards provides a high amount of volume for its relative length and width, allowing for less swing weight and plenty of float for its size. The planing hull design is ideal for a planning shape that excels at releasing water when touching down at foiling speeds, allowing riders to easily get back up again. The optimized center of buoyancy ensures a smooth and easy transition to foil, without the need for the rider to change foot position on and off the foil.
The size range has been expanded to suit different skill levels and preferences. The 4’5 are perfect for advanced riders looking for performance and versatility in strong winds or for freestyle maneuvers, this board is designed to be a sinker style board, it also works great in small surf or pulled behind a boat. The 4’11 and 5’4 is an all-purpose size, great for intermediate riders or wing foil beginners with experience in other foil disciplines. The 5’8 is ideal for beginners or heavier riders, providing easier take-offs, incredible stability, and a thrilling experience right from the start.
Notes from the Designer:
The new Phaze incorporates 3 main design principles to optimize its performance for Wingboarding:
- Compact shape- Relative to most boards on the market this board has a high amount of volume for its relative length and width. This allows the rider to have less swing weight and plenty of float for its relative size.
- Planing hull design- The bottom shape, rocker, rails and the symmetrical outline are ideal for a planning shape that excels at releasing water when touching down at foiling speeds. This is critical for riders who want to be able to come off foil and then easily get back up again.
- Optimized center of buoyancy- the volume of the board and the foil position is optimized so the rider should not have to change foot position on and off foil. Many boards have a center of volume either too far forward or back of center which causes the rider to shift forward or back after getting up on foil. Each size positions the track and volume to compensate for this to allow a smooth and easy transition to foil.
